Police Investigating Cayon Attempted Homicide

The police are currently investigating a shooting incident that took place on April 17th, 2024, between 11:30 PM and 12 AM at Wade Street, Cayon, St. Kitts. The incident left Devon Norford, a thirty-four-year-old resident of Lover’s Lane, Cayon, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police officers arrived at the scene and spoke to Mr Norford, who reported that he had been approached and shot at by an armed assailant. He managed to escape and head towards the Cayon Police Station to seek help. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were called and he was taken to the Mary Charles Hospital in Molineaux before being transferred to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for further treatment. He is currently in a stable condition.

The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) was called to the scene and collected some items of evidential value. An investigation into the matter has now been launched, and the public will be updated on any developments.
