Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 17, 2018 (RSCNPF): Police responded to a report of gunshots being fired in the Newton Ground area Friday night (March 16) at about 9:35 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the lifeless body of 41-year-old Glenville Francis lying on the ground in the vicinity of the railway tracks with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
Investigations so far have revealed that the victim was on the back road when he was shot by an unknown assailant(s). The District Medical Officer pronounced him dead at the scene. The Crime Scene Unit arrived and processed the area and several items of evidential value were taken into police custody.
