Gavinya Daniel of Cayon was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Attempted Murder. The shooting was committed on 06/06/13. Daniel is also assisting the Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) with the investigation into the Friday morning shooting in Cayon where an innocent bystander, a local adult female, was injured by a stray bullet while standing on the street with her minor child. Police are actively searching for the second accomplice in the Cayon shooting. Daniels, a former soldier, is assisting in the investigation.
