ARRESTS

A juvenile was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Receiving, which was committed between 4 June 2014 and 7 July 2014.

A juvenile was formally arrested and charged for the offence of House Breaking and Larceny, which was committed on 4 June 2014.

Shantez Mintos of Butlers Village was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of Firearm, Possession of Ammunition and Smuggling, which were committed on 7 July 2014 at Charlestown.

Baldwin Campbell of Chapel Alley was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Unlawful Possession, which was committed on 8 July 2014.

Francisco Reyes of Basseterre was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Building Breaking and Larceny, which was between the 26 and 27 June 2014 at La Guerite.

COURT CONVICTIONS

DISTRICT “A” MAGISTRATE’S COURT

Neville Fahie of New Road, St. Peters was convicted for the offence of Making Use of Indecent Language which was committed on 16 June 2014, and cautioned.

Jamaine Lewis of Monkey Hill was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 16 April 2014, and fined $1,000.00 which is to be paid in four (4) months or in default will serve four (4) months in prison.

Kevin Browne of Buckley’s Village was convicted for the offence of Battery which was committed committed on 28 December 2013, and fined $750.00 which is to be paid in three (3) months or in default will serve three (3) months in prison.

Valentine Brian Benjamin of Buckley’s Estate was convicted for the offence of Malicious Damage which was committed on 17 March 2013, and ordered to pay $2199.00 in compensation within two (2) months, or, in default will serve six (6) months in prison.

Kai Cabey of Fort Thomas Road was convicted for the offences of Battery on Police and Resisting Arrest, and fined $750.00 for each charge, which are to be paid in two (2) months or in default will serve six (6) months in prison.

Carl Hobson of LaGuerite Village was convicted for the offence of Simple Wounding, which was committed on 26 December 2013, and placed on a Bond in the sum of $2,500.00 for a period of two (2) years to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and ordered also not to interfere with victim.

Nakisha Harrigan of Poland, Conaree was convicted for the offence of Simple Wounding, which was committed on 8/6/2014, and was reprimanded and discharged.

Danny Darroux of Carty Alley was convicted for the offence of Using A Passport Which Was Not Legally Issued To Him which was committed on 29 May 2014, and fined $5,000.00 which is to be paid in five (5) months; $2,000.00 is to be paid by the 30th September 2014, or, in default will serve five (5) months in prison, and the remainder is to be paid by the end of the 5 months period or in default will serve eight (8) months in prison.
