Police responds to prank call of gunfire in Shadwell

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 31, 2018 – Police responded to a report of gunfire in Shadwell on Friday night only to discover it as a prank call.

Shadwell has been a hotspot recently with a report of gunfire Thursday night and Monday’s shooting death of Mickail “Mitch” Liburd, son of St. Kitts and Nevis’ Minister of Public Infrastructure, Posts, Urban Development and Transport.

There has been 20 murders in St. Kitts and Nevis for 2018
