Police Updates: Arrests made in Nevis

Police Updates

(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- A number of persons where recently arrested and charged for breaking the laws of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Three Bath Village residents, Clive Walters, Ashley Parris and Javier Lee were formally arrested and charged for the offence of possession of cannabis, committed on June 10, 2013.

Twin brothers, Vaughan Parris of Stoney Grove and Vernon Parris of New Castle was formally arrested and charged for the offences of disorderly conduct by fighting and unlawfully throwing missiles, committed on June 8, 2013.

Kierese Liburd of Nisbett Settlement, Nevis was formally and arrested and charged for the offence of possession of cannabis, allegedly committed on June 10, 2013.

In other news, on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 near to 8:00 a.m. New Castle Police and Officers of the Violent Crime Unit, and other police officers responded to a report at Mount Lilly.

Initial report revealed that the body of 23 year old Denrick Hanley Alias “Bluff” of Spring Hill, Fountain was found lying at the side of the road.

Investigation is ongoing into this matter.
