The Nevis Division of the St. Kitts and Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CIC) successfully hosted its Mix & Mingle affair, in partnership with the Social Security Board, at On the Rocks, located at Oualie Beach.
The event featured a Power Point presentation by Mr. Christopher Louard Director of the Social Security Board on the Social Security Reform Agenda. There were remarks from the CIC Board President Mr. Trevor Blake and the Nevis Division Chairperson Mr. Stephen Hector. The certificate of membership was presented to the Division’s newest member, Ms. Shobaina Clarke Owner/Manager of Native Radiance beauty products.
The Chamber, recognising the importance of reaching the working class with the Social Security reform agenda information, rallied its members to sponsor the attendance of not just their management teams but their line staff as well.
The Mix & Mingle also afforded attendees the opportunity to meet the newly elected Executive Council Members of the Nevis Division.
The Nevis Executive Council collaborates with its Board of Directors on St. Kitts for the development of a strategic plan which emphasises advocacy for policies that foster business growth and success within the Federation.
The Chamber’s mandate to “Improve the standard and quality of life for all the people of St. Kitts and Nevis” is still very much the focus.
