Prime Minister Hon. Dr Terrance Drew yesterday visited the Cayon Industrial Development, where local entrepreneur Mr Mahesh Nariani** is constructing a factory to manufacture water tanks, gutters, and pipes.
The Prime Minister was joined by the Senior Minister, the Rt. Hon. Dr Denzil Douglas, Mr Stanley Jacobs, Director of the St. Kitts Investment Promotion Agency (SKIPA), Mr Errol Douglas, Project Consultant, and a representative from the Ministry of Trade.
The initiative represents a significant step toward sustainable national development, with the potential to create meaningful employment, reduce dependence on imports, strengthen local manufacturing, and enhance water security across the Federation.
Prime Minister Drew emphasised that investments of this nature are critical to building economic resilience, empowering local enterprise, and advancing the Government’s vision for long-term, inclusive growth in St. Kitts and Nevis.
