Prime Minister Harris Leads Delegation on Canadian Visit to Meet with Investors and Nationals

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 02, 2016 (SKNIS): Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris has led a delegation to Canada comprising of the Honourable Lindsay Grant, Minister of Tourism, International Trade, Industry and Commerce; Cabinet Secretary Josephine Huggins; and Mark Wilkin, Advisor to the President of The St. Kitts and Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

While in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Prime Minister Harris and his delegation will meet with Members of the St. Kitts and Nevis Diaspora at a Town Hall Meeting on Saturday April 2, 2016, at the Radisson Hotel Toronto East from 6:00—9:30pm. They will also meet with investors in Canada over the weekend.

Prime Minister Harris’ trip to Canada comes on the heels of an invitation by UWI Stat (Vice Chancellor’s Ambassadors) to the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies (UWI) in Barbados where he delivered the Prime Minister’s Lecture on March 31,2016, under the theme: Reaping the Rewards of Regional Integration: A Socio-economic Assessment.
