Prime Minister visits Tamarind Cove Marina Development site on Nevis

Prime Minister of the Federation, Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas visited Tamarind Cove Marina Development Limited (TCMD Ltd) site at Cades Estate, Nevis on Thursday, May 22, 2014.

Before visiting the site the Prime Minister lunched at Mango’s Restaurant with Managing Director of TCMD Ltd, Mr. Greg Hardtman.

According to Mr. Hardtman both parties used the occasion to discuss various issues including the various other projects that the Hardtman Group are proposing to undertake in the very near future on both St. Kitts and Nevis.

At the TCMD Ltd site Mr. Hardtman updated the Prime Minister on the project and indicated that the 100 + slip Marina phase is expected to commence by August 2014. This would follow a public consultation scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Cotton Ground Community Centre.

Prime Minister Douglas, who was on his third trip to the site, expressed his satisfaction on the progress of the work and pledged support. He congratulated Mr. Hardtman and all others involved with the project and wished the project well.

Also on hand to meet the Prime Minister at the TCMD Ltd site were Mr. Vaughn Walters, Project Manager, Mr. Laughton Browne, Assistant Manager and Mr. Lynell Amory, Project Foreman.
