Charlestown- Nevis-The proposed changes which would have affected vehicular traffic in Charlestown, especially as it pertains to Government Road, Jews Street, Featherbed Alley, Marion Avenue and areas in close proximity, have been postponed.
The changes should have come into effect on Monday 11th April, but an official at the Public Works Department has confirmed that in accordance with instructions from the Premier’s Ministry, the matter had been put on hold ‘until further notice.’
This has been verified with the Traffic Department.
