RC Car Race Meet Set For April 6th And 7TH

James Weekes, Triathlete and Cyclist on Nevis, has confirmed that he and his hard working team, will be hosting a grand remote control car racing event, at the St. James’ Raceway, on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April, 2019.
Once referred to as an event where ‘big men play with toys,’ Weekes is adamant that the remote control cars can get up to some incredible speeds and are normally enhanced in the private labs of the owners.
The grand event will involve racers from Antigua, St. Croix; St. Maarten, Tortola; St. Kitts and host Nevis.
It is a free for all, as Weekes noted that they are still allowing the sport to catch on with the spectators and he is hoping for a huge turn out on both days.
On Saturday 6th April, the main races will take place and then due to the fact that some of the overseas racers have to return during the afternoon of Sunday 7th April, that day will be used to host grudge matches.
Weekes is promising that there will be music by a popular DJ and much food and drink on sale as well.
