(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- The Maude Crosse Preparatory School held its 2nd annual “Blast off with Reading” competition on Friday, September 6, 2013 at The Charlestown Methodist Church Hall.
This was an in house competition to prepare a Grade 4 child for the OECS reading competition which will be held later this year. Children from Grade 4-6 took part in the exercise.
Representing Grade 4 were:

Ming-sheng Young
Carlon Tuckett- was adjourned the winner
Representing Grade 5 and 6 were:
Domal Spellen
Accara Walrond
Shante Anslyn
Shevonel Williams- was the winner in her category.
When the competition concluded Shevonel Williams was judged best reader of the competition.
