The Naomi Preschool held its annual sports meet on Wednesday 16th March at the grounds of the St.Thomas’ Primary School.
The meet was held under the distinguished patronage of the husband and wife team of Hubert and Marie Jeffers.
After an impressive march past, the children excited their adoring parents and other family members in races such as the flat race; lime and spoon; ball and basket race; socks and shoes; dress up race; tyre race and much more.
The parents and teachers also had their moment in the sun as there was a thread the needle race for the teachers; a flat race for fathers and a lime and spoon race for mothers.
All helping to ensure that the sizeable crowd on hand was thoroughly entertained.
The final results were:
Red house 342 points-Champions
Blue house-321 points-second
