RENOVATIONS AT ETW PROGRESSING NICELY

Renovation works at the ET Willet Park are going full speed ahead, as the hard working crew, under the supervision of Sylvester Browne, continue to make preparations for the major match slated for Saturday 25th June.

According to well placed sources, the work is expected to be properly completed ahead of the deadline.

Cricket lovers across the federation are anxiously anticipating a major cricket match which is scheduled to be played between the St.Kitts-Nevis Patriots franchise team and a Premier’s X1.

The work completed so far looks pretty impressive, as certain specific standards have been outlined to accommodate the quality of match and the international status of some of the players involved.

There are some four prepared pitches and with the occasional rain showers, up to Wednesday they were completely covered with much improved covers.

Brand new side screens are in place at the northern and Southern end of the grounds, even extended for a wee bit into the seating of the main pavilion area and the outfield, minus a few areas where the covers were previously placed, is lush green. JABAL Walwyn and his team must also be highly commended.

Renovations have also been done to the bathroom facilities, dining area and other key areas that will be utilized by the star cricketers.

All in all, everything should be in place for the first ball set to be bowled at about 12.00 noon on Saturday 25th June.

Cricket fans will be holding their breaths that the rains will stay away.
