Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 11, 2016, (RSCNPF): Below is a report of Arrest, Convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period July 8 to 10.

ARREST AND BAIL:
Arrested: Liambeer Allen of Conaree Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving without a Driver’s valid and unexpired license and Driving without insurance.

Arrested: Tenilyn Rogers of Cleverly Hill, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned in the first instance for the offence of receiving.

Arrested: Shakieda Wilson of Farms Extension Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of wounding.

Bailed: Lorenzo Hendrickson of Cleverly Hill, Sandy Point who was arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis was granted bail in the sum of Five Thousand Dollars $5,000.00 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on Monday, 18th July, 2016.

Bailed: Shakieda Wilson of Farms Extension Sandy Point who was arrested and charged for the offence of Wounding committed on 28th June 2016 was granted bail in the sum of $5000.00 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday, 11th July 2016.

COURT CONVICTIONS:
In matters at the Basseterre Magistrate court presided over by His Honour Mr. Benjamin, Anthony Zara was convicted of two (2) counts of battery on Police committed on No. 753 Pc Straker and No. 806 Pc Henry, the defendant was fined two thousand dollars ($2000.00) to be paid in one (1) month. Convicted of using Insulting Language towards No. 806 Pc Henry. He was fined two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) to be paid in one (1) month. Convicted of Resisting arrest from No. 806 Pc Henry. Fined one thousand dollars ($ 1000.00) to be paid in one (1) month. Convicted of Escaping lawful custody from No. 806 Pc Henry. Fined two thousand dollars ($2000.00) to be paid in one (1) month. Convicted of using Indecent language towards No. 806 Pc Henry, fined two hundred and fifty ($250.00) to be paid in one (1) month.

He was also convicted of simple wounding committed on No. 753 Pc Straker and fined two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00 to be paid in one (1) month. Convicted of Malicious Damage caused to the property of The Government of St. Christopher and Nevis and was fined five hundred dollars ($500.00) in one (1) month.
Battery on Police, Insulting Language and resisting arrest committed against No. 513 Pc Mills were all withdrawn at court. Assault on No. 806 Pc Henry was dismissed. Once the fines are paid, no conviction will be on record for the defendant. However, if he commits any offence within one (1) year, he will have to return to court for sentencing of the offences mentioned. All offences were committed on 7th April 2016 at Frigate Bay.

OTHER ACTIVITY:
Armed Robbery: Police is investigating a report of an armed robbery that occurred at Bar Chiriroy’s a business on Government Road, Nevis at about 11.15pm on July 7th 2016. Investigations revealed that two unknown armed masked men, dressed in all black clothing entered their location and demanded monies, a sum of money was taken. The scene was processed. A search was made in and around the area but nothing useful was obtained. The investigation in this matter continues.

House Breaking and Larceny: Police is investigating a breaking and larceny at the Nevis Sixth Form College. Police Inquiries into the matter revealed that at about 3.00 pm on July 7th 2016, the virtual complainant returned to the said College and discovered it broken into. The scene was processed.

Building Breaking and Larceny: Police is investigating a breaking and larceny that occurred at Tiffany’s Bar and Grill at the Warner Park Stadium. The owner reported that they secured the booth at about 1:30 p.m on July 7th 2016 and left. He returned to his booth at about 11:00am on July 9th 2016 and discovered his booth broken into. Some unknown person(s) made entry into the booth and took items belonging to the owners. Value is unknown. Investigation into this report is ongoing.
House Breaking and Larceny: Police is investigating a house breaking and larceny that occurred at Connell Street, Mc Knight at about 4:30 pm on 8th July 2016. The resident reported that upon returning home at 8:40 pm it was discovered that the house was broken into and a number of items were missing. Enquires will continue into this report.

House Breaking and Larceny: Police is investigating a house breaking and larceny that occurred at Parray Housing Extension. The investigation revealed that the resident discovered the home broken into on July 9th, and a number of items missing. Investigation into this report is ongoing.

Traffic Accidents: Twelve (12) traffic accidents occurred on the federation’s roadways (5) in St. Kitts and (1) in Nevis for the period July 8th, (3) in St. Kitts and (1) in Nevis for the period July 9th and (2) in St. Kitts for the period July 10th.

Citizen Safety: Police continues to conduct Vehicular Check Points and or Stop and Searches and several searches of abandoned properties. The check points and searches were done in efforts to ensure Citizen Safety, by removing any found Illegal Firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs, and other instruments that can be used to commit crimes.
