Report of Arrests, Convictions and Other Activities

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 26, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period September 22-24, 2018.

ARRESTS AND BAIL:

Arrested: Vonyea Akers of Station Street, Old Road was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Breach of Injunction.

Arrested: Jahkeem Walters of College Housing was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny at King’s Pavilion Supermarket.

Arrested: Kendell Samuel of Orchid Street, Greenlands was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Using Threatening Language and Battery.

Arrested/Bailed: Tanice Johnson of Taylor’s Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Wounding With Intent. She was granted bail in the sum of $30,000 for her appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on November 05, 2018 with the following bail conditions: (1) she is to have no contact with the Virtual Complainant, either directly or indirectly; (2) she is to report to the Basseterre Police Station on Mondays and Saturdays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.; and (3) she is to stay 100 ft away from the Virtual Complainant.

Arrested/Bailed: Wentworth Manners of Shadwell Housing was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s Licence and Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on September 24, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Kadeem Lowry of New Road Housing was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Riding a Motor Cycle Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 18, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Ali Rehmen of Mattingley Heights was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Riding a Motor Cycle Without Having Obtained the Relevant Licence and for Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 18, 2018.

Arrested: Ndakar Semajh Robin of Captain Street, Shadwell Garden was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving Without Insurance and Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s Licence. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 18, 2018.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: McKnight, Fort Thomas Road, Upper Monkey Hill, Shadwell Ghaut and Cayon.
