Report of Arrests, Convictions and Other Activities

Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 03, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period September 25 to October 01, 2018.

ARRESTS AND BAIL:

Arrested: Enslie Lewis of Shaw Avenue, Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Housebreaking, Larceny and Receiving.

Arrested: Anthony Silliday of Green Tree, Old Road was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Malicious Damage.

Arrested: Tevon Jones of Saddlers was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Wounding.

Arrested/Bailed: Great Ebuken Egesimba of Cunningham Street was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License and Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 04, 2018 with the bail condition that he is to report to the Basseterre Police Station every Wednesday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Arrested/Bailed: Razba Richards of Lower Monkey Hill was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License and Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 18, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Darien Tuckett of Bird Rock was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 18, 2018.

Bailed: Kendell Samuel of Greenlands, who was charged for the offences of Using Threatening Language and Battery, was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on November 05, 2018 with the bail condition that he is not to make any contact with the Virtual Complainant, whether direct or indirectly.

Bailed: Jahkeem Walters of Fort Thomas Road, who was charged for the offence of Larceny, was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on November 01, 2018.

COURT CONVICTIONS:

In matters at the District “B” Magistrate Court, presided over by Her Honour Ms. Karen Hector, the following matters were reported:

– Alphalfa Francis of St. Paul’s, who was charged for Possession of Drugs, was fined $1,000 to be paid by October 24, 2018 or, in default, serve thirty (30) days in prison. The charge for Possession With Intent to Supply was withdrawn.

– Kelvon Dickerson of St. Paul’s, who was charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis With Intent to Supply, was fined $2,000 to be paid by October 24, 2018 or, in default, serve two (2) months in prison.

– Gary Webster of Parson Ground, who was charged for Possession of Drugs, was fined $1,200 to be paid by November 15, 2018 or, in default, serve two (2) months in prison. The charge for Possession With Intent to Supply was withdrawn.

– Kadeem Warner of Sandy Point, who was charged for Driving with Dark Tinted Windows, was fined $150 to be paid by October 28, 2018 or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison.

In matters at the District “A” Magistrate Court, presided over by his Honour Mr. Reynold Benjamin, the following were reported:

– Juaan Fyfield of Ponds Estate was convicted and fined $750 to be paid in one (1) month or, in default, serve twenty-one (21) days in prison for the offence of Driving Without Insurance.

– Juliana Thompson of LodgeVillage was convicted and fined $1,000 to be paid in six (6) weeks or, in default, serve twelve (12) weeks in prison for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention, and was fined another $1,500 to be paid in six (6) weeks or, in default, serve twelve (12) weeks in prison for Driving Without Insurance. She was disqualified from having her Driver’s Licence for three (3) months. She was also convicted and cautioned for the offence of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s Licence and Speeding.

– Dinzey Francis of St. Pauls was convicted and fined $400 to be paid in fourteen (14) days or, in default, serve seven (7) days in prison for Driving Without Due Care and Attention.

– Adriel Benjamin of Nisbett Settlement, Nevis was convicted and fined $100 to be paid forthwith or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for allowing passengers to get off in an area not designated for such.

– Alexis Williams of Conaree was convicted and fined $100 to be paid forthwith or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Failing to Comply.

– Jahval Carey of Saddlers Village was convicted and fined $400 to be paid in one (1) month or, in default, serve seven (7) days in prison for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention.

– Ian Morris of Lower Cayon was convicted and fined $400 to be paid in seven (7) days or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention.

– Devon Simon of Parray Village was convicted and fined $100 to be paid forthwith or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Failing to Comply.

– Jarvon Silcott of Keys Village was convicted and fined $1,000 to be paid in six (6) weeks or, in default, serve two (2) months in prison for Driving Without Due Care and Attention.

– Dawn Thompson was convicted and fined $400 to paid in one (1) month or, in default, serve seven (7) days in prison for Driving Without the Relevant Licence prescribed in respect of the vehicle and was convicted and fined another $750 to be paid in seven (7) weeks or, in default, serve twenty-one (21) days in prison for Driving Without Insurance.

– Eddy Lam of Edwards Lane, New Ponds Site was convicted and fined $750 to be paid in twenty-one (21) days or, in default, serve eight (8) weeks in prison for Driving Without Insurance.

– Ericson Wescott of Bamboo Terrace, Molineaux was convicted and cautioned for allowing passengers to get off in an area not designated for such.

– David Greenaway of Lower Cayon was convicted and fined $100 to be paid forthwith or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for the offence of Driving With Blue Lighted Lamps.

– Jervin Reid of Main Road, Stapleton was convicted and cautioned for the offence of Failing to Comply.

– Keithroy Hodge of Taylors Range was convicted and fined $100 to be paid forthwith or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for the offence of Driving With Identification Mark at front /rear not Legible.

– Jermaine Wilkin of Stone Fort Height was convicted and fined $150 to be paid forthwith or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for the offence of Driving Without the Relevant Licence.

– Bartholomew Davis of Lower Bamboo, Molineaux was convicted and fined $100 to be paid forthwith or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for allowing passengers to get off in an area not designated for such

– Oldain Powell of Sebastian Street, Basseterre was convicted and fined $150 to be paid forthwith or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for the offence of Driving Without Seat Belt.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Ponds Pasture, Upper Monkey Hill, Market Street, Molyneaux, Bourryeaux and Old Road.
