REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February, 20 2017, (RSCNPF):  Below is a report of Arrests, Convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period February 17th -19th 2017.

 ARREST AND BAIL:

Arrested: Vaughan Parris of Cayon Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned on a Warrant in the First Instance duly signed for the offence of Battery.

 Arrested: Alexandru Andrei of Romania was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Malicious Damage. The offence was committed on 16th February, 2017 to the property of Ma Pau.  Value of damage was of $27,000 XCD.

 Arrested: Vidal Hanley was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for making use of threatening language.

 Arrested: Jason Liddie of Parson Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Threatening to Kill.

 Arrested: Diondre Herbert of Pleasant View, Shadwell was arrested, formally charged and cautioned of Carrying Abroad an Offensive Weapon to wit a knife. He was granted bail in the sum of $5000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on June 2nd 2017.

 OTHER ACTIVITY: 

Abandoned Properties Search: Police continues to execute searches of abandoned properties, most recent searches were done in the following areas: Thibou Avenue, McKnight and Ramsbury (Nevis).

 Search Warrant Executed: Police executed a number of search warrants over the period of this report. The Warrants were executed in the following areas: The Alley and Farm’s Site,  both areas in Sandy Point. The searches were  done in search of for illegal drugs,  firearms and ammunition.

 Traffic Accidents: There were ten (10) accidents on the federation’s roadways (6) in St. Kitts and (4) in Nevis during the period of this report.
