REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 20, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period February 15–19, 2018

ARRESTS AND BAIL:

Arrested: Leon Clarke of New Road was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Indecent Assault that occurred between February 01, 2016 and March 31, 2016 and April 19, 2017 respectively. 

Arrested: Cajan Simmonds of Central Shaw Avenue, McKnight was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny committed on October 16, 2017. 

Arrested: Ezekiel France of Upper Monkey Hill was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent Supply. 

Arrested:  Vincent Harvey of Nevis Street/Durant Avenue was arrested, formally charged and cautioned of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.

Arrested/Bailed: Khyle Tweede of Black Rocks, Bellevue was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Veslie Tweede of Black Rocks, Bellevue was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis and Obstruction under the Drug Act. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.

Bailed: Tyquan Warner of Boyds Village, who was formally charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply, was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance in the District ‘B’ Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

Marijuana Plants Uprooted: Officers of the Special Services Unit (SSU) returned from duty and reported that they uprooted two hundred (200) Marijuana Plants ranging from one (1) to three (3) feet in height in the Lodge area. 

Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: New Road, McKnight, Green Tree (Old Road), Mad House Alley, Jessups Village and Stapleton. 

House Breaking and Larceny: Police responded to several reports of House Breaking and Larceny which occurred in the following areas: Ponds Pasture, Stapleton, Bucks Hill, New Street, Wellington Road and Shaw Avenue.   

Abandoned Properties Searched: Police continued to execute searches on properties. Most recently they were done in the areas of Conaree Village, Brick Kiln Village and Lower Thibou Avenue.
