REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 18, 2016, (RSCNPF):  Below is a report of Arrest, Convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period -16-17th October.

 ARREST AND BAIL:

Arrested: Leon Francis of St. Pauls was arrested formally charged and cautioned for three (3) warrants in the First Instance for the offences of Assault, Battery and Threatening Language.

 Arrested:  Ezrette Henville of Sand down Road, Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply to another, attempted to convey a certain controlled drug to wit portions of the plant Cannabis to a prisoner at Her Majesty’s Prison

 Arrested: Dennis Walwyn of Tabernacle Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned   without a Warrant for the offence of carrying abroad an offensive weapon

 Arrested: Kishawn Gilbert of Happy Hill Alley was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Crack Cocaine with intent to supply 

 OTHER ACTIVITY:

Ammunition Found and Turned into Police:  A concerned citizen reported the Sandy Point Police Station and handed over a plastic bag containing a zip-lock bag with seven (7) 9mm rounds of ammunition, and one (1) .22mm ammunition which was found in the station’s Policing area. 

 Burglary: Police is investigating a report of Burglary at about 3:55am on October 17th 2016 at Back Way, Sandy Point. Initial investigations revealed that an armed assailant entered the V/C’s home demanding money.  The V/C complied and the assailant then made his escape The Scene was processed an investigations are ongoing.

 House Breaking, Larceny: Police is investigating two reports of house breaking and larceny.  One occurred in the Bird Rock area and the other in the Hamilton area on Nevis.

 Search Warrants Executed: Police is investigating a number of search warrant over the period of this report. The Warrants were executed in the following areas: Rawlins Project, Church Ground, Trafalgar Village, Sandy Point and Hamilton.

 Traffic Accidents: There were five (5) accidents on the federation’s roadways (4) in St. Kitts and (1) in Nevis during the period of this report.
