(CHARLESTOWN NEVIS)-The Inland Revenue Department conducted a small ceremony on the morning of Friday, August 12, 2016 in the vicinity of Horsfords Valu Mart located at Stoney Grove.
The ceremony was held to reveal a newly constructed Bus Stop which is located in close proximity of Horsfords Valu Mart.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Eric Evelyn gave the opening remarks.
The invocation was given by Mr. Euclid Lawrence.
A poem was recited by Mr. Earl ‘Pancho’ Hanley.
The feature address was delivered by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Colin Dore.
Mrs. Neva Manners gave the closing remarks.
The Bus Stop is consisted of a solar panel which is connected to a 110 outlet and gives people the opportunity to charge their devices.
It was then revealed to the General Public.
