Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 05, 2019 (RSCNPF): Souvin Ritchen was recently sentenced to life imprisonment for the 2015 murder of Rakiem Hanley.
The Court described the murder as cold, vicious and the worst case scenario, adding that the degree of seriousness was exceptionally high. The Court also stated that his conduct was a proclamation of his untouchability in the community and that his good character was eclipsed by the circumstances of the case.
The 30-year-old, who was formally from Shadwell but lived at Durant Avenue, was found guilty of murder by a majority of the jury late last year.
