A two-week sailing camp, hosted by the Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center, concluded on a high note, on Friday 20th August.
The youthful sailors, under the watchful eyes of instructors, Danielle Connor and Nick, sailed from Oualie Beach, all the way to Yachtsman’s.
They all made it safely and without incident.
They then engaged in a celebratory session at Yachtsman’s Grill, which included a grand pizza luncheon.
The sailors then made their way back to Oualie beach, with a brief stop at Tamarind Cove for snacks.
On hand to greet the youthful sailors was the Director of Sports on Nevis, Mr. Jamir Claxton, who applauded the Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center for their efforts in training the children in the art if sailing.
He stated that it is the hope that one day, Nevis will be able to have individuals participating in the event at the Olympics.
