Sailing : SKNSA Announces Elite Team for 2025 St. Maarten Budget Marine Dinghy Championship

The St. Kitts and Nevis Sailing Association (SKNSA) has officially named four elite sailors to represent the Federation at the prestigious St. Maarten Budget Marine Dinghy Championship, taking place from November 27–30, 2025. The regatta—an AHO qualifier for the World Optimist Championship—opens with a pre-practice race on Thursday, November 27.

The event continues its strong tradition of promoting youth sailing development across the Caribbean and will welcome top competitors from Antigua, St. Barthelemy, St. Martin, Guadeloupe, St. Maarten, Curaçao, and St. Kitts and Nevis.

These young sailors secured their national team selection following standout performances at the SKN National Dinghy Championships held July 5–6, 2025. SKNSA remains committed to advancing athlete development through technical training, strong sporting values, and exposure to high-level regional competition.

The association extends best wishes to the team as they prepare to compete and proudly represent St. Kitts and Nevis.
