The St. Kitts and Nevis Sailing Association, the St. Kitts Yacht Club, and the St. Kitts and Nevis Aquatics Federation proudly welcome home Elijah Walters and Coach Nickhail Rogers following their successful participation in the World Sailing Inclusive Development Program in Antigua.

This groundbreaking initiative marked a significant milestone as the first programme of its kind in the Caribbean, bringing together participants from across the region to learn, collaborate, and advance inclusive sailing. Its mission is both simple and powerful: to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to experience and enjoy the sport of sailing.

The programme also featured the inaugural Caribbean Inclusive Sailing Championships, sailed aboard the RS Venture Connect, highlighting how adaptive sailing creates meaningful opportunities for sailors of all abilities to train, compete, and excel.

We are immensely proud of Elijah and Nickhail for representing St. Kitts and Nevis with professionalism, passion, and national pride. The knowledge, skills, and experience they have gained will play an important role in expanding inclusive sailing within our federation and inspiring more people to discover the excitement, confidence, and freedom that sailing offers.

We extend our sincere appreciation to World Sailing and the National Sailing Academy for hosting this pioneering programme and for their continued commitment to growing inclusive sailing throughout the Caribbean.

This is only the beginning. Together, we are building a future where sailing is accessible to everyone—because sailing truly is a sport for all.

Welcome home, Elijah and Nickhail, and congratulations on this outstanding achievement!
