Sandy Point Shooting Under Police Investigation

The Police are investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the death of one (1) male, namely Jermaine Greene.

The criminal act was committed at Downing Street in Sandy Point, St. Kitts, on February 12th, 2024, between 11:45 PM and midnight.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Mr Greene, a twenty-nine (29)-29-year-old Jamaican national resident in St. Kitts for some years, was accosted by an armed assailant while seated outside of a Downing Street establishment.

He sustained multiple gunshot wounds around the body and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and the general public will be kept abreast of its progress.
