Basseterre, St Kitts, January 5, 2020 – A St Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) security officer allegedly stole an Apple watch from a passenger on her way out of the Robert L Bradshaw International Airport on Saturday.
According to reports the woman who went through the security area was requested to take the watch off her hand and place it in a bin by a male officer.
After the watch was discovered missing, family members who were still in St Kitts, were requested with the assistance of the police, to track the watch.
An informed report said the watch was tracked to a residence on Sebastian Street, New Town and the watch was retrieved allegedly from the home of the security guard who requested the passenger to remove it from her hand.
It was no immediately known if the police made an arrest.
