Scholarships for Studies in Germany

The German Acadamic Exchange Service (DAAD) has published scholarship opportunities for 2016/2017 in Archictecture-M (M=Masters); Fine Art, Film, Design-Visual Communication and Film-M (M=Masters); Music-M (M=Masters); Performing Arts-B (B=Bachelors); Performing Arts-M (M=Masters); and Study Visits for Academics – Artists and Architects.
The details of the scholarships are provided in the six (6) attached documents and below is an overview:
Study Scholarships for Foreign Graduates in the Fields Listed Below:
DAAD scholarships offer graduates the opportunity to continue their education in Germany with a postgraduate or continuing course of study. The scholarships also promote the exchange of experience and networking amongst colleagues.

Who can apply:
Architecture
Foreign applicants from the areas of Architecture, Interior Design, Monument Conservation, Urban Planning/Urban Development, Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Planning, who have gained a first university degree at the latest by the time they commence their scholarship-supported study programme.
Fine Art, Film, Design/Visual Communication and Film

Foreign applicants who have gained a first university degree in the fields of Fine Art, Design/Visual Communication and Film at the latest by the time they commence their scholarship-supported study programme.
Performing Arts

Foreign applicants who have gained a first university degree in the field of the Performing Arts at the latest by the time they commence their scholarship-supported study programme.
Music

Who can apply:
Foreign applicants who have gained a first university degree in the field of Music at the latest by the time they commence their scholarship-supported study programme; if this is not possible, they should have at least exhausted all the training options available for their instrument.

Study Grant Visits for Academics – Artists and Architects
DAAD grants provide young foreign academics and artists with an opportunity to continue their education in Germany. There are funding programmes for various qualification phases and stages in a career.
The aim of this programme is to promote artistic co-operations with German host institutions.
Who can apply?
University teachers from the following disciplines:
Architecture (Interior Design, Monument Conservation, Urban Planning/Urban Development, Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Planning)
Fine Art, Film, Design/Visual Communication Performing Arts (Drama, Direction, Musicals, Dance, Performance Studies, Choreography, etc.) Music.
