Seventh Day Adventist Church Assists Community Members in Time For School Reopening

Gingerland, Nevis – On Saturday, September 5, 2020, representatives of the Community Services Department of the Gingerland Seventh Day Adventist Church, set out on a mission of help.

The stated purpose, was to deliver school supplies to needy families, in nearby communities.

The group was led by Community Services leader, Sister Albertine Pinney and at one point was also accompanied by Pastor in charge of the district, Pastor Delroy Josiah.

The school supplies included reading books, exercise books, pens, pencils, highlighters, erasers, folders and rulers.

It is understood that the supplies were provided by a member of the church, who wished to remain anonymous.

Over fifty children were beneficiaries of the well-needed gifts, in areas between Gingerland and Brown Hill.

The parents expressed their sincere appreciation, especially due to the fact that school was set to reopen, in some cases, on Monday 7th September.
