(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)– The sweet taste of victory was experienced yet again by Miss Sidamo Jones of Hanley’s Road, Gingerland when she captured the crown for the first ever ‘Miss Sapphire Swimsuit’ competition held last evening Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Lime Beach Bar.

Miss Jones proved on Sunday evening that a crown can only be won by consistency and outstanding performance throughout a competition. This was evident as she defeated the five (5) other competitors, Hydeia Tyson, Tricilla Arthurton, Felicia Silcott, Jovon Garvey and Rhenique Leslie.

Jones also captured the judges’ approval for the best one piece segment.

Hydeia Tyson was announced first runner up. She took home the titles of best two-piece swimsuit, and best designed two-piece swimsuit dubbed ‘Hypnotic’ . She also won the title of Miss Photogenic. Rhenique Leslie captured the title for best designed one-piece swimwear.

Jones is not a new face to pageantry. She has entered numerous shows in the Federation and has placed in all of them. She was placed 1st runner up for Miss Culture 2006; 2nd runner up for Miss National Carnival 2006; 1st runner up in Miss Black San Swimwear in 2012; and she was crowned Queen in 2011 for Miss Culture Swimwear.
