SKELEC Bids Farewell to Seven Employees on Their Retirement

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — The St. Kitts Electricity Company Ltd. (SKELEC) announced that an intimate farewell gathering was held at Carambola Beach Club to honour seven outstanding team members on their retirement.

SKELEC bade farewell to Ms Janice Herbert, Mrs Mudelyn Dias, Ms Morvet Williams, Mr Albisten Stevens, Mr Winston Browne, Mr George Welcome, and Ms Rosalind Richardson.

“Many of these individuals served for decades, first at the St. Kitts Electricity Department (SKED) and later at SKELEC since its inception. Their unwavering commitment and dedication have been instrumental in delivering quality service to our community,” SKELEC said in a statement on Monday.

Paying tribute to their distinguished service, SKELEC called on the nation to “celebrate their tremendous contributions and wish them all a happy and fulfilling retirement.”
