SKN Aquatic Federation’s Swim Clinic Concludes

The now annual swimming clinic hosted by St. Kitts and Nevis Aquatic Federation, climaxed at the Oualie beach in Nevis, on Friday 1st September.

President Eldon Thomas, was ecstatic, as he opined that the clinic which commenced on the 17th of August was a tremendous success.

He indicated that on the following day, Saturday 2nd September, the swimmers would showcase what they would have learned during the two weeks of intense training, by participating in a time trial, which would ultimately determine the selectees to represent the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis in the upcoming OECS Swimming tournament, slated for 10th to 13th November.

Lead coach, Coach Yash Daryanani who is a professional coach, noted that the number of his trainees increased over last year and he is confident that the number of individuals selected to go to St. Lucia this year, would also increase.

He stated that he was pleased with the improvement that he saw over the weeks of training.

A few of the swimmers noted that it was indeed a tiring experience but good for their overall development.
