SKN (National) Marijuana Commission to hold town hall meeting at Butlers

NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (April 18, 2018) — The following is a press release from Dr. Hazel Laws, Chief Medical Officer in St. Kitts and Nevis and Chairperson of National Marijuana Commission regarding a town hall meeting to be held at Butlers Village to discuss the issue of marijuana.

The St. Kitts and Nevis (National) Marijuana Commission is hosting a series of town hall meetings throughout the Federation. The purpose of these meetings is to engage the public, share the facts and latest evidence regarding the medical, social and economic implications of marijuana use and ascertain your position on these complex issues. 

The public is invited to the 4th Town Hall Meeting scheduled for Thursday April 19, 2018 at the Butlers Community Centre in Nevis at 7:00 p.m.

The National Marijuana Commission is inviting persons living in the Butlers community to attend, bring along relatives and friends to be informed about the issues related to the use of marijuana.

We are encouraging you to come out and share your views. All are invited to participate in this national debate.
