SKN (National) Marijuana Committee to hold town hall meeting in Jessups Village

NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (April 25, 2018) — The following is a press release from Dr. Hazel Laws, Chief Medical Officer in St. Kitts and Nevis and Chairperson of the SKN (National) Marijuana Commission regarding a town hall meeting to be held at Jessups Village to discuss the issue of marijuana.

The St. Kitts and Nevis (National) Marijuana Commission is hosting a series of town hall meetings throughout the Federation. The purpose of these meetings is to engage the public, share the facts and latest evidence regarding the medical, social and economic implications of marijuana use and ascertain your position on these complex issue.

The public is invited to the 6th Town Hall Meeting scheduled for Thursday April 26, 2018 at the Jessups Community Centre in Nevis at 7:00 p.m.

We are inviting persons living in the Jessups, Cotton Ground and Westbury communities to attend, bring along relatives and friends to be informed about the issues related to the use of marijuana.

We are encouraging you to come out and share your views. All are invited to participate in this national debate.
