A Press release from the St Kitts and Nevis Football Association states that the organisation has completed two new FIFA Mini Arenas—one in St. Kitts and one in Nevis.
The project, a collaborative effort between the SKNFA and FIFA, is aimed at supporting the development of young footballers. The facilities are designed not only as playing fields, but as safe and inclusive environments where children can play, learn, and grow.
The Association highlighted several key benefits of the initiative. It noted that the arenas provide secure spaces where children can feel protected, and parents are reassured. Improved facilities are also expected to contribute to the long-term development of football across both islands, while reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to safeguarding young participants as the sport continues to expand.
The SKNFA also expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Sports in Nevis for its partnership in delivering what it described as its first major football project on the island, noting that the initiative would not have been possible without this support.
