Charlestown-Nevis-Towards the end of December, 2017, the Social Security Board of St. Kitts and Nevis, through its Branch office, located at Pinney’s Estate, gave gifts to certain elderly and needy persons throughout the island.
Public Relations Officer, Mr. Walter Morton, in making the presentation to Ag. Coordinator of the Seniors’ division, Miss Trudy Prentice, stated that it was a pleasure to deliver what he described as ‘care packages.’
He noted that the institution has been doing similar things for the past years, but this year they were teaming up with the Department of Social Services to give the packages to the assistant pensioners throughout the island.
Miss Prentice for her part, thanked the Social Security Board for remembering the less fortunate and making their Christmas much brighter and wished everyone a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
“May God continue to bless the Social Security Board of St. Kitts and Nevis,” she said.
