Sri Lanka Under 19’s Beat Windies Counterparts

Sri Lanka U19 secured an 81-run victory over the West Indies Women’s U19 team.

Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 160 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Sanjana Kavindi was the standout performer with the bat, scoring 38 runs. For the West Indies, Selena Ross was the most effective bowler, taking 2 wickets for 25 runs. Cumberbatch, Cassar, and Claxton each claimed 1 wicket.

In response, the West Indies were bowled out for just 88 runs in 19.4 overs. Captain Samara Ramnath was the top scorer for her team with 24 runs, while Jahzara Claxton added 15.
