St. Kitts and Nevis’ Ambassador in Taiwan Holds Talks with Taiwan’s Director of International Affairs

TAIPEI, TAIWAN — St. Kitts and Nevis’ Ambassador to the Republic of China (Taiwan), His Excellency Donya L. Francis, continues to explore new avenues to strengthen cooperation between the twin-island federation and Taiwan.

On Wednesday, Ambassador Francis met with Ms Stacey Lin, Director of the Department of International Affairs of the Legislative Yuan, to discuss how the department intends to support enhanced cooperation between Saint Kitts and Nevis and the Republic of China (Taiwan) through public and parliamentary diplomacy.

The meeting was held at the Embassy of Saint Christopher (Saint Kitts) and Nevis in Taipei.

In September last year, Taiwan’s Resident Ambassador to St. Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency Edward Tao, paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly, Hon. Lanein Blanchette, and toured the National Assembly Chambers.
