BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — The 12th United Kingdom–Caribbean Forum was held on Tuesday at Lancaster House in London.

The forum, which serves as an important platform for dialogue and collaboration on regional issues, was co-chaired by Denzil L. Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Industry and Commerce, Consumer Affairs, Economic Development and Investment of Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Yvette Cooper.

The meeting brought together foreign ministers from the Caribbean Community, along with representatives from Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and the United Kingdom for high-level discussions on regional cooperation and shared priorities.

During the meeting, the ministers examined developments in the international environment and advanced a joint agenda focusing on trade and investment, security cooperation, and regional developments.

Discussions also centred on a Plan of Action that will guide United Kingdom–Caribbean engagement over the next two years.
