First 1,000 fans to enter Warner Park on Tuesday 30th June will receive a free ticket to watch St Lucia Zouks Vs Barbados T01ridents match the following evening

Monday, 29th June – Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and the St Kitts and Nevis Ministry of Sport announced that, in celebration of the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots first win in the Hero CPL, the first 1,000 fans to enter Warner Park for Tuesday’s opening game against the Appleton Estate Jamaica Tallawahs, will receive a free ticket to watch the St Lucia Zouks Vs Barbados Tridents the following evening, July 1st.

This generous opportunity promises to add further excitement in St. Kitts and Nevis as Warner Park prepares to host ten CPL matches from 30th June to 11th July. The carnival atmosphere of the CPL which is currently sweeping the Caribbean, boasts a winning combination of live music, colourful entertainment and world-class cricket, securing its position as the biggest party in sport.

Hon. Shawn Richards, Minister of Sport, St. Kitts and Nevis, said: “We are proud that cricket is such an important part of our social fabric here in St Kitts and Nevis. We have some of the most dedicated cricket fans in the whole of the Caribbean region, so we wanted to give something back to loyal supporters by offering them the chance to see more world-class cricket on their doorstep.”

Local fans are encouraged to show their support for the new franchise, which boasts some of the biggest names in T20 cricket, including Shahid Afridi, Marlon Samuels, Martin Guptill, and Sohail Tanvir.

Tuesday’s opening match against the Jamaica Tallawahs is set to be electric following the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots’ stunning victory against Barbados Tridents on Saturday night.

Gates open at 4:00pm, so fans are urged to arrive early to avoid disappointment
