(BASSETERRE – 11th Dec., 2014): The Pavilion at Christophe Habour was recently the venue of a super high-roller poker tournament, which featured some of poker’s top professional players competing alongside the world’s wealthiest amateur enthusiasts for multi-million dollar prize pools.
Jason Mercier Wins WPT Alpha8 St. Kitts ($727,500).
This WPT Alpha8 Poker Tournament was made possible through collaborations between the St. Kitts Tourism Authority and the St. Kitts Royal Beach Casino, along with Christophe Harbour Development.
A 50-plus production crew filmed the tournament that will air on Fox Sports in the coming weeks. The crew also captured footage of various tourist attractions and cultural aspects of the island, which will feature prominently in the program.
