St. Kitts’ Junior Minister of Tourism Returns Home from Regional Tourism Congress

Basseterre: St. Kitts: Cam-Ronn Audain, a student at the Washington Archibald High School, returned to St. Kitts on Monday, October 16, having represented the island during the 19th Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Regional Tourism Youth Congress, held in Turks & Caicos on Friday, October 13, 2023.

“It was a very fun and exhausting experience. Overall, I am very grateful for the experience of visiting Turks and Caicos and representing my country,” remarked Ms. Audain.

Ms. Audain was one of the 14 participants in the Regional Tourism Youth Congress. She presented on the topic Building a Resilient and Sustainable Tourism Workforce, which required her to identify three issues in the tourism workforce and present a formula to mitigate the issues identified.

The Minister of Tourism, Hon. Marsha Henderson, commended Ms. Audain for representing the country so competently.
“We are so excited to welcome back our Junior Minister of Tourism who did extremely well in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

She represented us at the conference, and she did exceptionally well, especially in the impromptu question.

She was awesome! We are happy to have her back home, she showed up and she showed out in Turks and Caicos. We could not have asked for a better representative, and I couldn’t have asked for a better Junior Minister of Tourism.

Cam-Ronn is the 2023-2024 Junior Tourism Minister for St. Kitts having won the St. Kitts Tourism Youth Congress in May 2023.
