St. Kitts & Nevis Representatives Partner in the UK to Promote Sister Islands as Twin Destination

BASSETERRE (15th March 2022): This week, Ellison “Tommy” Thompson, CEO of St. Kitts Tourism Authority, and Melnecia Marshall, Deputy CEO of St. Kitts Tourism Authority, are in the United Kingdom to meet with key stakeholders and business partners as part of the Caribbean destination’s tourism rebound strategy. They are joined by Lisa Elmes-Bosshard, the Tourism Authority’s London-based marketing consultant, and Julie Claxton, UK sales manager for the Nevis Tourism Authority. The team will work closely with partners to review and fine-tune the strategy to promote both St. Kitts and Nevis as a must-see destination to the UK traveller.

The week started with participation at Unite Caribbean and includes meetings with strategic partners such as British Airways and British Airways Holidays. The team will also present joint trade presentations with Nevis to key hotel stakeholders in Chester, Reading and Crawley.

The St. Kitts Tourism Authority CEO and DCEO have also secured a number of interviews with key travel trade publications, including Cruise International and Superyachts.com. The St. Kitts Tourism Authority executive team and representatives will also make a scheduled courtesy call to the High Commissioner His Excellency, Dr. Kevin Isaac.
