St Kitts Tourism Authority is celebrating the twentieth anniversary of its establishment on the island.
The organization has been working to promote the tourism sector of the island for the last two decades. SKTA is hosting a year-long celebration to commemorate the 20th year of their services.
In line with this, they have announced the intention to host the St Kitts Tourism Authority 20th Anniversary Gala.
Through this event, the SKTA seeks to celebrate all the members of the organization who have made the tourism sector of the country into what it is today.
As the smallest Caribbean nation, the economy of St Kitts and Nevis is largely dependent on the tourism that it can generate.
In line with this, the tourism authority has a significant role to play in retaining and developing the overall economy of the country.
Through the gala, the tourism authority of St Kitts has invited the people of the island to nominate their “Tourism Stars”
The organization will honor the contributions of the stakeholders of the tourism sector in the following categories:
Accommodations (Business)
Culture and History (Individual)
Event Planning & Entertainment (Business)
Food and Beverage
(Individual or Business)
Taxi Operators (Individual)
Attraction and Tours (Business)
Industry Game Changers /Innovation (Individual)
Industry Partner (Business)
Destination Management Companies (Business)
The tourism authority of the country has urged the people of the country to participate in the initiative in large numbers and nominate the people who they think are deserving of the honor.
They took to their social media account to announce, It’s your chance to shine the spotlight on those unsung heroes who have excelled in the tourism industry and deserve well-earned recognition.

The deadline for the submission of the nominations is OCT.06 2023
