The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force wishes to inform that reports made in the local media regarding the duty status of the Police Constable who was involved in a recent off-duty shooting incident are incorrect.
Contrary to the report indicating that the Police Constable has been returned to duty, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force would like to inform that the Constable continues on administrative leave pending the findings of a coroner’s inquest.
Additionally, the Constable is also restricted in his movement and activities.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force will remain steadfast in our mission, “Keeping St. Kitts and Nevis Safe.”
