BASSETERRE (19TH October, 2015): The first annual Style Weekend St. Kitts is set to kick off with three days of posh events commencing with a Welcome Cocktail on the 6th November, 2015.
The cocktail reception will feature music, modeling and introductions of fashion designers.
The weekend continues on Saturday 7th November in the Grand Ballroom of the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, where the Style Weekend St. Kitts Fashion show will take place. Ten local, regional and international designers including the Upscale Boutique will showcase a diverse collection of designs.
Fashion lines will be showcased from Gold Standard Clothing, Paradise Prints, Yuvershand, Christian Boucaud, Kaishah Peters, Shirrine Gilon, Sanara Bussue, Rifka Maycock, Deron Attzs and Rosanna Browne. And, the host for this upscale evening is eccentric Ms. Naeemah Hazelle.
On the final day of Style Weekend St. Kitts, on Sunday 8th November, the exquisite Carambola Beach Club will come alive at 1 p.m. with music, food and an exotic Shopping Experience offering wares such as jewelry, shoes, clothing, handbags, body products and paintings.
This will be the perfect opportunity for the general public to purchase their favourite pieces from all the fashion designers from Style Weekend St. Kitts. The day will also feature a mini fashion event within the upscale party atmosphere, as the final day of Style Weekend Kitts continues into the night. Popular hosts for the day are Andre Phipps known by his radio name Magic Man and his talented co-host Jonnelle from Winnfm 98.9.
Style Weekend St. Kitts is being produced in partnership with the St. Kitts Tourism Authority and will be covered by Trinidad LookBook, SHE Caribbean Magazine, Sparkle Magazine, Shabeau Magazine, Twenty 8+ Magazine, Caribbean Posh Magazine and Ryddim Magazine.
Tickets for the Style Weekend St. Kitts Fashion Show, which will be held at the Marriott, can be purchased for EC$65 from Fresh Vitamins and Fashion 2020, both located on Fort Street. And, also from the Refresh Juice Bar. Patrons will pay EC$75 at the door.
Style Weekend St. Kitts is the brainchild of Ms. Winnielle Pereira who has more than 16 years of experience in the fashion industry. Over the years Winnielle has worked steadfastly to advance the fashion industry in the Federation, hosting boot camps, fashion shows and fashion weekends – accumulating with media coverage spanning the globe.
