CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS — July 21, 2026 — A two‑week summer basketball camp officially got underway on Monday, July 13, at the Grell Hull‑Stevens Netball Complex, bringing young players together for skill‑building, coaching, and teamwork.
According to lead coach Jeffrey Lewis, participants will receive thorough instruction in all core elements of the sport, including court awareness, passing, dribbling, shooting, and match fundamentals. The programme is designed to build confidence, improve technique, and foster a lifelong love of the game.
Also present at the opening was Ms Keesha Jones, Branch Manager of the St. Kitts‑Nevis‑Anguilla National Bank — Nevis Branch. She offered words of encouragement to the young athletes and the coaching team and presented each participant and coach with branded water bottles donated by the bank to support safe hydration throughout the sessions.
Organisers thanked National Bank for its continued investment in youth sports, and invited families to follow the camp’s progress as players develop over the coming two weeks.
