Superfoods broken into….again

Unconfirmed reports reaching this media house indicate that the one of Nevis’ supermarkets, Superfoods, located at Cedar Trees, Charlestown was broken into sometime last week.

Reports are that a variety of alcoholic drinks were taken and the vehicle of one of the owners was used to transport the stolen items from the scene.

The vehicle has since been retrieved.

It was on March 4, 2013 that Malvern ‘Molly’ Walwyn of Hardtimes, Gingerland was sentenced to three years imprisonment by Her Honor, Magistrate Yasmine Clarke for stealing from Superfoods Supermarket.

That incident took place on February 3, 2013. Walwyn was found guilty at the District ‘C’ Magistrate Court for stealing saltfish, chicken, ribs, hennessy, baileys, champagnes, cigarettes, and among other things.
