The Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Centre, in a recent release, has announced the passing of one of its members, Elias Lee III.
The release reads:

“We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Elias Lee III, our secretary and the driving force behind our learn-to-swim programme. Elias was a bright and beautiful soul who found immense joy in watching both children and adults learn, grow, and gain confidence in the water. That joy was contagious, and it shaped the spirit of our programme in ways that will live on.
From the very beginning, Elias helped lay the foundation for everything NASC is today. His dedication, kindness, and belief in our mission touched not just our organisation, but the wider St Kitts and Nevis community in countless ways.
He had the biggest smile, a warm and easy laugh, and a way of keeping things light even on the busiest days. Being around him was a gift.
We are incredibly grateful for the time we had with him, and we will carry his spirit forward in all that we do.
Elias, you will be so deeply missed.”
